Cool footage runs for minutes

Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia has a cool video clip showing the car lapping a track several times at a number of different points and angles. The video runs for over 5 and-a-half minutes, starring red Scud going flat out most of the time. Sadly there is no sound accompanying the stunning footage so you’ll have to make it up using your mouth and imagination.

Ok stfu about porsche. Not anywhere on this page is porche mentioned. You sound like a 12 year old kid trying to gain respect by offering a commonly held opinion on a completely unrelated subject.

If you just wanted to get into an argument of what is the best sports car... then I will bite, and say the gt2 is crap compared to the Ultima GTR. The Ultima GTR is lighter, has more power and can take corners faster then the GT2. Heck the Ultima has a 0-60 time of 2.6s whereas the GT2 is 3.6. In cornering, the Ultima can pull 1.176 G's while the GT2 is only 1.02... heck the GT1 is only 1.07... And don't you dare say it looks better. The 911 models haven't had a serious visual overhaul since their conception. Therefore the design is unimaginative and based 99% on the preceding years.

In other words if your not going to say anything intelligent, don't otherwise me or someone else will flame you.

It would destroy a GT2, if its weight is the predicted 2700Ib or so.

WOW this car is awesome, and that engine sings beautifuly, not to keen on the stripes though. if i were to buy one i would order it w/out the stripes. but as for that swifthead comment i would love to put the new gt2 against this. i'm sure it would be a great match-up, but i honestly think that the 430 scuderia would come out the winner every time.

i think porsche GT2 is better choice , i say better choice because F430 is too expensive comparing to GT2,look at the specs of both cars and price tags, tell me which one you would buy ?? Joe Limon was wrong when he compared GT2 to Ultima GTR..

The magic of the GT2 is that you can drop your son to school then go to work, go shopping, then win a race, pick your kid and go home.. EVERYDAY

That actually, is the single best argument I have ever heard for that car. The only problem I have with it is that it is hard to say however how reliable any car is once you get into that price range. Many people who own these vehicles do not say just how much money they put into them to keep them in road legal condition.

This fight will never end. Each car has its own features that makes it independent and special too. If the Ferrari was better then no one would've gone to buy the Porsche, and so to the Ferrari. I may like the Ferrari because it looks better, sounds better, and maybe even because its more expensive. Other may like the Porsche because its more reliable, cheaper(though the GT2 is extremely expensive), and because they like Porsches. I personally would go for the Ferrari. It might not be better than the Porsche, but owning the Ferrari badge is over satisfying.

I don't think the GT2 is extremely expensive, it's priced for what you get, at 193,000$ it delivers every penny of that and more. For the price of the 430 Scuderia you can get a Carrera GT with 100 miles on it. Both amazing cars, but i'd take the GT that car is an absolute dream, and with under 1200 worldwide it's truly unique.

i like porsche because porsche keeps everything in the cabin like a luxury car, ferrari is trully sport, with carbon fibre dashboard and F1 gearbox ..!! ..just my opinion, otherwise Nissan GT-R is another choice for its special price over its spec :)

yes andy you bring up a good point, the maitnence costs on this ferrari must be astronomical, but if you think about it, if your wealthy enough to afford one in the first place you probably aren't concerned with the costs of up-keep. hell if i had the money i buy the gt2 and the f430 both and switch from week to week. one can dream.

On a side note, people that can afford cars like the GT2 or Scuderia don't care about price. Only people that do are the ones that can't afford them. Simple as that. You think the person that can buy a GT2 would look at the ferrari and say; "well this car is a little cheaper, so I guess I'll go with this then the F430." Get real. You are either a porsche guy or a ferrari guy. Sometimes both. Selecting either is just your own perference and taste, not really a lack of money.
