Chrysler 300C SRT Diesel on the way for Europe
“If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” was a business motto someone told once a long time ago. For 300C, the badge SRT has previously meant HEMI V8 displacing 6100cc and power of 317kW. Surprisingly today it only means 3.0-litre 218 bhp/ 163kW and 376lb ft of torque. No V12/ V10 or even V8 super diesel to sniff of at this time.
Has Chrysler tamed the SRT monster? No. This is the SRT diesel version, which uses the same 3.0-litre CRD motor but gets loads of facelift with bits like a bootlid spoiler, new rear light cluster sat nav with 20GB drive, and extra LED lights. So all dressed up with nowhere to go then? Seems that way. Thankfully for those hankering for real SRT performance, you’ll be pleased to know that only Europe is getting this particular 300C SRT.
What's wrong with the panel fit? There's no glaring errors or any sort of indication of oversized gaps. Are you blind? I hate dumbasses like you who bash American cars just for the hell of it because you don't like them. Keep your crap confined to your own mouth next time. By the way, I can assure you that this car would last longer than most Mercedes' would.
Yea if more European than American there chief. Ever heard of Daimlerchrysler.
Ever heard of where it was designed and produced?
Yea its a shitty car thats must be why it won so many awards right.
yeah i bet you are right, they are going to make an SRT-8 with a turbodiesel V6.. Hellooo?? (cough) BS!
The article never spoke about a SRT"8" version, only a SRT one. Anyway, this idea sucks.
American cars like those in Europe are just wasted time. The quality is "light-years" from european standards, assistance is weak and styling is boring. Engines are too "big", so fuel consumption is too high.
With new cars like the great Citroen C5, BMW, Audi and others, there is no way that rubbish 300C is going to sell here. No contest... european and japanese cars are more affordable, way more efficient and safe. The 2007 Voyager got 2 stars out of 5 (EuroNcap crach test). That's not bad, it's embarrassing!

Just look at the panel fit on that thing! You could get in without opening the doors.
