Last year Maserati used the Geneva Auto Show to debut their GranTurismo, this year the company has decided to spice things up with the introduction of the GranTurismo S. Powered by a 4.7L V8 engine that produces 440 horsepower, the S uses an electro-actuated gearbox with MC-Shift technology to create an unforgettable driving experience. The gearbox allows the GT S to shift in a one tenth of a second and enables the car to go from 0 to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds.

The GranTurismo S also features a high performance braking system which was developed in cooperation with Brembo and first used on the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S. Using dual cast technology, the front brakes combine cast iron and aluminum to ensure maximum braking from the system’s six piston brake calipers.

Exterior differences are subtle and include new oval dual exhaust, redesigned side skirts, and a horizontal red bar on the grille’s trident logo. The interior is upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara, while new front and rear seats feature horizontal piping.

This is probably the most beautiful available car in the world (as in the 8C Competizione is unavailable because they're all sold :( )

WOW ! mind blowing ... the design is so clean, so sharp .. Ford should look at their so called "Kinetic Design" philosophy and then look at this Maserati and say, "hey wait a minute, we were supposed to do that !" The design is truly "Kinetic" and at the same time it is also understated ( not in your face kinds ), so that it exuberates true Aura ! There I go writing love poems on a Maserati again :P hehe ..
