It has been quite a while since Aston Martin teased us with an illustration, but now we have the first full blown pictures of the Vantage GT2. - completing the British Manufacturer's portfolio of GT race cars: GT1, GT2, GT3 and GT4. The latest car from Aston Martin Racing has been designed to be run on both standard fuel and E85 bio-ethanol fuel thanks to the successful conversion of the DBRS9 last year further enhancing Aston Martin's green credentials.

No further details have been released yet ahead of its debut in the Le Mans Series at Barcelona on 5th April but we'll keep you posted as soon as the information comes through.

I happen to like women with lipstick....especially a woman as bodaciously hot as an aston, in race gear no less. Gorgeous car...does anyone know who modifies it??

Doesn't Aston Martin have its own racing division that specializes in this sort of thing? The DBRS9 is a Prodrive product, and (I think) largely unrelated to this Vantage GT2.

I assume from the Prodrive sticker on the front splitter that they are involved somehow. Also Dave Richards Chairman and Chief Exec of Prodrive headed the consortium that bought Aston. I believe the 2 companies will be in bed together from here on out.......
