Great movies do not need only fantastic actors in the leading roles. Supporting roles also have to be performed by talented people. If the Geneva Motor Show was a moving picture, besides stars like the Volkswagen Scirocco, it would also have many supporting role actors, such as the Lumeneo Smera and the vehicles you can see in this article. They are produced by Fornasari Cars, an Italian company that has introduced three models to people that have never had the chance to see them: RR 600, Elettrica and Gruppo B.
Fornasari seems to have recovered the idea De Tomaso has initiated with the Pantera: European design and North-American engine. In fact, the Italian carmaker has changed this concept a little bit: instead of using the engine in a sports car shape, it has chosen an SUV. That’s the RR 600.
Equipped with a 6-litre V8 engine, the LS2, taken from the Chevrolet Corvette, this 4.40 m long vehicle has 600 hp at 5,700 rpm available to move its 1,600 kg. As all SUVs, it offers 4WD. Fornasari RR also has a stronger version, the RR 650, that counts on 650 hp to carry the same weight and five passengers. Three or five door models are available.
At the Geneva Motors Show, Fornasari has taken the opportunity to present two really new vehicles, Elettrica (electric vehicle) and Gruppo B, both created over the same structure that is used by RR 600.
The Gruppo B is available only in three-door configuration, but it has two engine choices: the 6-litre V8 producing 500 hp or a supercharged LS7 (7-litre V8) delivering 750 cv. With this last option, the Gruppo B can reach up to 300 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 s.
The Elettrica I up to date with environment demands and follows the steps of the Tesla Roadster. In other words, it uses lithium-ion batteries, for fast recharging and long-term use, two electric engines (what can prevent the use of a differential) and a range of 250 km. Maximum speed will be limited to 220 km/h (not bad for an electric vehicle). Prices, as onemay expect, are not limited at all and may be as high as customers’ expectations, since the cars are built in very limited series, what makes them highly customisable.

the 5 door is too obviously rendered, but the interior looks real.... what an awful gear knob though!
