3800hp Jet Powered Motorcycle
If there is one thing we can count on our pals over at Jalopnik for, it is to uncover the most outrageous power obsessed stories, and you don't get more outrageous or powerful than a 3,800hp jet power Motorbike.
A Rolls Royce Viper Turbojet aircraft Jet Engine provides the power and although details on the official site are a bit sketchy the power mad Australians have installed an after burner which boost the output by a further 1200hp.
The project has now been running for about 5 years and as far as we are aware holds the unofficial record for the worlds most powerful motorcycle.But lets not foget, this isn't the first time the Aussies have gone to extreme lengths on their motorcycle tuning.

They can if they can build up enough speed... Of course, the engine wont generate any thrust in space, so the plane would drop back to Earth at some point. Unless it has so much speed it can actually move away from the Earth's field of gravity...
anyway, who's insane enough to build such a machine, not to mention anybody to drive it :P
australiaaannsss?? i sware to god when i saw the picture.."oh no, the americans are bored again". but the australiaaaannnnsss...how do u write "quaikee". is the blonde australian too? anyway...i think it's fast enough to bring me to and back from school. gee, and i was thinking so much, what bike should i buy? im curious though...what's the mileage on that Saturn V engine? :))))))))

the part that amazes me the most, is that the engine only weighs 290kg!
well, it may be the most powerful thing on two wheels, but what want to know is if it's the fastest, too. I only pray they don't try running the thing on its afterburners without having some type of aerodynamic stablization, or at least some 500+ pound man (or women, take your pick, i'm not sexist.) to ride it as it fires down the track; preferably a runway, but whatev.
oh yeah i forgot to add:
"Damn Aussies! beat us to it again!!"
