Bentley has revealed today details of it upgraded and facelifted Continental Flying Spur range. On the market since 2005, exterior modifications begin with redesigned bumpers and grille. Interior noise reduction is increased with enhanced floor pan undertrays and wheelarch liners. New features include follow-to-stop, radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control system and a new stereo system by British hi-fi manufacturer, Naim, designed exclusively for Bentley. The system includes a 1100 Watt amplifier, which is the most powerful offered in a production car, 15 custom-built Naim speakers, which includes dual Naim sub-woofers. Suspension springs and shocks are upgraded along with new 19-inch Pirelli Ultra High Performance tires for increased ride quality and comfort. For the interior, personalization choices increase with an choice of crafted wood marquetry and chrome inlays. Also, seat piping, a traditional Bentley feature, is introduced on Flying Spur together with two new leather colours. Three new colours and four duo-tone paint combinations are added to the exterior paint palette.

The Flying Spur also receives the “Speed” treatment just the same when the Continental GT Speed facelift was announced, With an upgraded 6.0-liter W12 engine from 552bhp (560PS/412kW) to 600bhp (610PS/449kW) the result is a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 200mph. Suspension is lowered for greater agility while the steering is re-tuned for greater response. Wheel size is increased to 9.5Jx20 with the same Pirelli P-Zero UHP tires mentioned above. The Flying Spur Speed is further distinguished with dark-tinted radiator and air intake grilles and wider rifled exhaust tail pipes.

There is no way that is a 110W system. 1100 watt perhaps.
