Flock of GT-R's Descend Upon UAE Dealer
As the photos were sent to us by an avid WCF reader, not a whole lot of information is provided except that Al Masaoud Automobiles dealer in Abu Dhabi U.A.E have received their first batch of seven (five pictured) Nissan GT-R's. Apparently the photographer got some play-time in the cock-pit with the Multi-Funciton Display. Surely these cars are already sold. Enjoy the detailed photos.
This first batch is only for royalties. The car will be officially in the region by 2009. If you see the interior, golden leather inserts are in. Unlike the nomal black/black, or black/red seats... Lucky people.
Damn they delivered mine to the wrong country .
Ok, so they copied Audis front and DSG transmission then why not the interior. Did Tata design it for them? I really like the exterior but inside I don't know.
MPH Speedo and SAT radio? Its not fair that a US Spec vehicle can be driven in the UAE by royalty and privately imported GTRs around the world wont be touched by Nissan workshops...

Despite WCF's extensive skills in Photoshop ;) we have not quite mastered the art of removing watermarks without leaving any trace. The source in question does indeed have the same photos but with a watermark. The photos used on WCF were sent in directly.
It is not special anymore in Hong Kong since it is like taxi for more than half a year in Hong Kong.
These r not the first GTR to be delivered, we, in the US have already got ours atleast my buddy got his and he kicked my e60 M5 ass damn that thing is fast. So idk y it says first ones to be delivered but it only says the first ones in Dubi so maybe those r the first ones in the middle east, my buddy has had his for like im guessing 2+ months. But they r great cars!!!! N im not to big of a fan of Japanese cars even though they do perform great im all euro :)
What's so special? The car has been in Jakarta's showroom for two months. I guess the Indonesian public can get the car faster than UAE's royals.
The special thing about it is that its the first delivery to the middle east, and you guys know the middle east, or specifically the Arabian Gulf has its own specs for cars to be perfectly working under the heat and the hot weather almost all the year.
And btw, I dont know if you will agree with me or not but i have to say, cars that comes to the middle east have more power than the same cars you already have in the US, because there are not any regulation about pollution or what so ever, so they dont have to modify the exhaust, so basically 10-15 more horsepower is assured.
