Only Top Dealers get to Sell the Corvette ZR1

With a limited annual production of around 2000 units and a dealer network of 3932 there were always going to be a large number of dealerships left disappointed when trying to get hold of the New Corvette ZR1. But General Motors has gone much further in dealer limitation by only allowing a total of 338 of its authorised dealerships to get hold of the superfast vehicle.

Due to the extra training and equipment dealers must pay for, the allocation of ZR1 will be limited to just the high volume sales total dealerships which have the resources to provide all the aftersales service you would expect when buying a car like this.

205mph, 638hp and a 0-60mph time of 3.4 seconds isn't half bad for $105,000, a price we are sure many punters will be more than willing to pay in excess. Looking back a previous limited production muscle cars produced by Ford and GM, we would hardly be surprised to see some models go at something close to $200K as dealers look to take advantage of the situation.

Because theres a disturbing amount of people on this site who bash this car just cause its American. If a European car put up those numbers they would be all over its nuts and they wouldn't care that their super european car costs 200k.

Why anyone would spend 100k more than the sticker price for a ZR-1 is beyond me! Then again, I'm not the one foolishly spending the money. I like the ZR-1 but when considering a Z06 vs. a 200k ZR-1, call me what you will, but I'd still take the Z06 and maybe use the extra money to invest in a better f/i system.

if I had an option, I would rather to have Maserati GranTurismo S. I know it's not as fast as this chevy, but I'm not going to the track very often. I'll go to show off than to race. And still maserati's are fast

I saw a brand new Gran Turismo S on the street, wow they look nice in pictures but in real life they are jaw dropping.

Bwahahaha for that price if i had to buy american i would take a ford GT, at least that doesn't look like a poor imitation of a 360 modena.

sure if i was going to spend 200k i would get a GT2 but you have to admit this car has the goods its fast, and it beat the gtr's "ring" time by 3 seconds

Why would you spend that much money on EURO trash with more hidden tax fees and may have more hp, but running higher track times than the zr-1?
