Similar to the recent Peugeot 207 Le Mans special edition and almost identical to the 107 Sport XS model launched in the UK over a year ago, Peugeot has now made a similar version for the 107 as a "Street Racing" model.

Available as of July 1 in Germany, the 107 Street Racing edition receives a similar double red racing stripe that extends over the hood, roof and rear body. Right and left side front lip spoilers are added to the front bumper while the rear gets a centrally mounted double oval exhaust tips in chrome. Special "Evo star" alloy wheels with 175/50 R15 size tires are added, and don't forget the red colored mirror housings with "Street Racing" logos on the doors rounding out the exterior details. On the inside, the 107 Street Racing receives a leather steering wheel with red stitching, matte red air vent trim and shift knob, CD-player and tachometer.

Careful not to condone illegal street racing, the107 Street Racing is only available as a three door with the 50 kW (68 HP) 1.0-liter petrol engine and five speed transmission in Caldera black or the new Lipizan white for 11,700 Euros. For 70 Euros more (12,830 Euro) the 107 Street Racing gets manual air-conditioning as well as its own model name, the 107 Street Racing Cool. Now, that's cool!

I was expecting the red stripes to add at least 30bhp to the car...

Not a fan of the Peugoet models. think it has something to do with the huge intake in front. but hey people obviously like it otherwise they wouldn't sell.

My problem with this model is, them calling this a street racing model. one you'd be laughed out of the street racing scene, and also aren't they now promoting street racing..

That's ridiculous...! A 68 hp "street racer" with red Viper stripes... I wouldn't take one unless they paid me to take it!

This = French Rice. It would have been a nice car, but c'mon, a mere 68bhp? They should have put in at least 100bhp. Like some guy said above, I want a 107 GTI.

it looks good but as the others have said where's the tuned version? Can't the C2 VTR/S's engine be squeezed in?
